He also knows chambre it is highly likely that cerulean will not be able to collect a dime. See if there are any city county or state ordinances that he has violated by cutting the tree (Preservation or Zoning ordinances), and have the authorities pursue that. Your city and / or county comissioners office should be able to help you with that. What did he do with the wood? Is it disposed of or sold or being used as fire wood? You should be able to have him arrested and prosecuted for stealing the wood. You need to call the Police and unfortunately you need an attorney who specializes in tenant landlord issues. Tell the police the tree was stolen if the wood is not still laying on the ground undisturbed. Cutting down the tree is one issue; stealing the wood is a completely different issue. Pursue it that way.
